Molecular Neurobiology and Neuropathology
The Molecular Neurobiology and Neuropathology Department investigates the biological basis of brain disorders. We study rare and prevalent psychiatric and neurological diseases using a combination of behavioral and electrophysionlogical analyses, cellular and molecular biology techniques, and high-throuughput “omics” approaches. Our collective effort seeks to better understand the molecular and environmental grounds of brain malfunction to improve current therapeutic strategies for brain disorders.
